Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, password (stored securely, never in plain text), and optionally your brokerage and phone number.
• Your content: the photos and video clips you upload, the edited results, listing details you enter (such as address, bedrooms, notes) and the descriptions and videos we create.
• Billing details: your plan and purchase history. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical information: such as your browser type, pages visited and error logs, used to keep the service running and secure.

We only use cookies needed to keep you logged in and the site working. We don't use advertising cookies or sell information to advertisers.

2. How we use it

• to edit your photos, create staging, tours, videos, descriptions and tour links you ask for;
• to run your account, process payments and provide support;
• to keep the service secure and prevent misuse;
• to improve the service (for example fixing errors or measuring how long edits take);
• to send important messages about your account, billing or changes to our terms.

We don't use your photos to train our own AI models, and we don't sell your personal information.

3. Service providers we share it with

We use trusted companies to run PicPorch. They only get what they need to do their job for us:

• Supabase: account database and secure photo storage.
• Vercel: hosts the website and runs our servers.
• Stripe: payments, subscriptions and invoices.
• OpenAI: AI photo editing (your photo and editing instructions are sent to create the edit).
• Anthropic (Claude): AI that looks at photos to keep edits accurate and writes listing descriptions.

OpenAI and Anthropic process this data through their business services, which under their current policies don't use it to train their AI models. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of the business (in which case this policy would continue to apply).

4. Public tour links

If you create a tour link for a listing, the photos and walkthrough video you choose are copied to a public page that anyone with the link can view. The link has no agent contact details. You can turn it off anytime, which removes those public copies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account information and content while your account is open. When you delete a photo, video or listing, its files are deleted from our storage. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your content and personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons (such as invoices).

6. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your details in your account, download your photos and videos, and delete listings anytime. You can also ask us to send you a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete it by emailing support@picporch.com.

If you live in California or another place with privacy laws (such as the EU or UK), you have rights to know what we collect, to access, correct or delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising. We'll respond to requests within the time the law requires.

7. Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), private storage where each account can only reach its own files, and restricted access to our systems. No method is 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

PicPorch is for adults doing real estate marketing and isn't meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we'll tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
